My First Furry Weekend After Moving to Kansas: Drunk and Disorderly

While I was living in Kansas we started hosting furry weekends. The main idea was to get together and watch movies, drink and socialize. Fursuits were encouraged but not mandatory. Some of the guys I had never met before. It was a mixed group, gay, straight and bi. The purpose of these gatherings was not sex, but it was not discouraged. Cuddling was accepted. I do not remember how much I drank or what I drank, but I do know I drank a lot. I did not get Tucker Max Drunk, but I was definitely drunk. During the evening and night I lost all inhibitions. There were a couple of guys who were friends who were there together. One was bi and the other was straight. They were both very attractive.  The bi guy had a fursuit with him. It could be worn as a G rated suit or an R rated suit. He demonstrated both. With the R rated version the head of his cock could stick out of it. I was strongly drawn to the sight of his cock sticking out of the shaft. I stroked it, and a few times I took it in my mouth. I did not get to suck him off, but I definitely. I forgot that his friend was claiming to be straight. (He later started saying he was bi.) A few times I sat beside him and cuddled up against him. He was either wearing boxers or going commando, because it was going down the leg of his pants. I stroked his cock through the fabric of his pants, and it definitely got hard. He made no protest to my actions. Later when I remembered his claim to be straight I was embarrassed that I had done this. I apologized to him, but he was not upset by my actions. If he had wanted me to stop he could have just told me to do so, and I would have ceased my attention. There was a young guy by himself. He was a little chubby and definitely cute. We started talking. He may have started talking to me because no one else was paying attention to him. We eventually started kissing and we went up to my room. we took off our clothes and kissed and cuddled. Mostly we fondled each other. I may have sucked him some. Remember I was very drunk, so my memories are not completely clear. I do remember that I told him that I wanted him to cum in my mouth. He straddled my face while he jerked off and just before ejaculating he stuck his cock in my mouth. Soon after that we went to sleep spooning. It was early morning when we went to sleep. He woke me once later and wanted to play around again. We cuddled, fondled each other and kissed. Again when he was ready to shoot he straddled my face and came in my mouth. I was able to get hard again, but I could not cum again yet. When we woke up we played again. We did more of the same. I was able to cum again, and for a third time he shot his load in my mouth. That is the most loads I have gotten from one guy in a day. Unfortunately I never saw him again. I sometimes felt like a dirty old man at these gatherings, because I was older than the others there, but that was my own insecurity. No one else mentioned it. This was not the last time that I had sex during these gatherings, but I rarely got that drunk again. That does not mean that I did not get drunk again, just not as drunk as I was that time. More tales to come.

Tři Sestry and More Memories of Prague

I am listening to Tři Sestry. This is bringing back memories of Prague. One of the things I enjoyed there was getting kielbasa and beer or svařené víno at street stands and eating and drinking them walking on the street or sitting on a bench on Václavské náměstí. It was interesting to watch a film made in Prague and see benches where I had eaten. Sometimes I walked around the city listening to Czech music on a portable CD player. One of the reasons I liked about having people think that I was not from the U.S. is that I was not treated like an outsider. I enjoyed going to grocery stores and music stores and practicing Czech. I had to stick to simple conversations, because my Czech is very limited. I had to look things up in a dictionary before going to the grocery store. Once I went to a KFC with my classmate. I noticed he was ordering from the children's menu, and I wondered why he was doing this. He was surprised when he got his food. He had not realized what he was ordering. It was fun too to have a small beer with my lunch in the school cafe. The other Americans gave me funny looks when they saw me drinking beer at lunch, but I did not care about that. It was included in my meal plan, and the Czech people there did not think it was unusual. I wish I could have bought more books and CD's there. I hope some day to go back. One of the memorable bars I went to with friends from the school was a bar with archery. There were targets set up away from bar patrons. The bar tender would serve the beer to you while you were shooting arrows or at a table. Close to an apartment there was a Škoda car dealership where there was a bar. My roommates went there, but I never made it to that one. The bar was not open during the same hours as the car dealership hours. There was one bar where I went with my roommates. It was called the Mexico Bar. On the front the name of the bar was in English. There was a large sombrero on the sign in front. There was nothing Mexican about the interior of the bar. It looked like a lot of other neighborhood bars there. I went to a Chinese diner. It looked like Chinese Restaurants I have seen around the United States. The main difference was that the people in this restaurant did not speak English. It was interesting to order Chinese food in Czech. One food I found in stores there that I wish I could find here is cod livers. They were in cans like sardines, and they were delicious. My favorite neighborhood bar we went to had an acoustic band playing. There were a lot of people there, and they were very friendly. One of roommates sniffed snuff, and a guy had him try some snuff that he had. I did not remember later where that bar was. I would have liked to go back there. I saw some hockey jerseys that had been worn by professional players for sale. I wish I could have been able to afford one. I want so much to go back there. I am not giving up that hope.

My Prejudice: A Confession

I do have a prejudice with which I struggle. It is a prejudice against Southerners, especially rednecks. My Father's family was from Upstate New York. His Mother graduated from Cornell University in 1918. The family moved to North Carolina when his Father was transferred here by his job. My Grandmother had a hard time finding a teaching job, because she was from the North, even though she had graduated from a prestigious school. The family was not treated kindly when they moved. I never heard any anti-southern sentiments expressed, but I knew they were present. As I mentioned before I was bullied in school, mostly by the rednecks. When I was much younger I had a strong Southern accent. I got teased by my sisters about this. I gradually sought to rid myself of this. Part of this is because of singing in chorus in High School and starting to learn other languages, but the anti-southern prejudice is part of this. I have never fit in with the people in the area where I live. As I grew older this prejudice spread to include most of the people of this country. To be honest, I am happy when people do not think that I am from the U.S.A. I am not proud of this prejudice. It is an issue with which I need to deal. I have usually been accepted more quickly by people from other countries, and I do identify more closely with other cultures, but I need to be more open to my own culture. I think I have made a start. I don't know if I will ever really understand most American humor. I hope I never start to enjoy television programs like "The Dukes of Hazard." I need to be who I am without being prejudiced against others from my own country and the region of the country where I grew up.

Be Open to Learning From Anybody, You Might Be Surprised Who Has Things to Teach You

One thing I try to remember is to be open to learning from everybody I meet in person or in writing or online or in other contexts. Age definitely is not a determining factor as to whether they have something to teach others. Malala Yousafzai is definitely someone from whom we can all learn. If she can stand up for her beliefs even after being shot none of us has any excuse for not speaking out. Another person who is younger than I from whom I have learned is Tucker Max. He reminded me of the importance of being oneself even if it means being an asshole. I would not recommend doing a lot of the things he has done, but he wouldn't recommend that either. I may listen to some of his podcasts about dating, even though they are aimed at heterosexual males. I am hesitant to take his dating advice seriously given the nature of his earlier, but he has matured since he wrote those things. I have learned some things from several MMA fighters, Urijah Farber. Forrest Griffin, Jens Pulver, Randy Couture, Frank Shamrock and Georges Saint-Pierre. One of the lessons that I had reinforced through books written is the importance of not giving up when others try to discourage you from reaching for a goal that is important to you. I have even learned from and been entertained by Hank Williams III. His music is a lot of fun, and I enjoy his I-don't-give-a-fuck attitude. I am inspired by him in his bring himself in spite of what others may say. I never would have thought that I would be inspired by a Southern redneck, but as I have said before, "Never say never." (Yes, I know that many others have said it too.)

Sex not Violence

It makes no sense that violent movies are less restricted than those showing sex. Why is it in the United States that we fear letting those under eighteen see people making love. It makes more sense for violent movies to have a more restricted audience as is the case in some countries.

There are people who get overly upset when they see two men kissing on television. They say that this unsuitable for children to see. These same would probably not be upset to see two men beating the shit out of each other on tv. That's fucked up. If a man and a woman walk down the street in this country nobody thinks there is anything wrong, but if two men did the same thing in parts of the country it would be considered scandalous. In parts of the country they might get beaten up. Why do people feel threatened by rights being given to all people to love the ones they love. Giving other people rights does not take away from anybody's rights. I heard a song  entitled "Hate Crime" by a "Christian" rock band that said it was a hate crime for homophobia not to be accepted. They said they were the ones being discriminated against if they could not discriminate against others. I long for the day when kissing, hugging or holding hands with another man in public will not be a political act. I will continue to be much more careful when it comes to sucking dick in public. I would restrict that to Southern Decadence and other occasions like that.

Coincidences

I had a job at an apartment complex, or community as the manager preferred to refer to it, and part of my job was cleaning apartments when people had moved out. One day I was removing items left in an apartment. I had Laurie Anderson's song "Let X=X" going through my mind. Specifically it was part referring to a Swiss army knife. I opened a drawer in the kitchen, and in the drawer was A Swiss army knife. I think I may still have it somewhere. (We could keep items abandoned in apartments.) I watched two films together, one was a Russian movie and the other was English. They were not alike, but they had one small element in common. There was a bed in both with sheets with apples on them. I was living in a house with several people. There was one guy who was my friend while he was living there. Sometimes I would have odd changes in what I was thinking when he was about to enter the house. His room was adjacent to mine. Every time this happened what I started thinking was something he brought up in conversation when I saw him. Not long ago I was thinking of someone I had forgotten about, and later that day I received an email from a friend saying that he had seen this guy on the bus after not thinking about him for a long time. I am not sure what causes coincidences, but they do occur. I will write about some more as I remember them.

How Can Donating Money to an Organization Get Money out of the Political Process?

It seems ironic that I get emails asking me to donate money to organizations who want to get money out of politics. I understand they want to fight the influence of corporations and the megarich who want to buy politicians through grassroots efforts. Would protest be an effective method of fighting the influence of money on the political system? I have grown skeptical. I do not believe that most of the members of congress care about the people they are elected to represent. They are more interested in serving the people who give them money and in protecting the benefits they get from being in office. I keep getting emails from progressive causes asking for donations. They remind me that I have not given any money yet. They use scare tactics. They say that they need to reach a certain amount of money or a certain number of donations or face failure. I am sure that conservative organizations use the same tactics. The organizations from whom I receive these emails seem to forget that a lot of people are struggling, because we do not earn a living wage. Until the minimum wage is raised a lot of people cannot afford to make contributions. I do what I can to help these causes, and I am starting to do more. When I sign petitions in support of progressive concerns I share these petitions on social media. I have not been doing this much, but I am starting to do so more frequently. This does not cost ant money, and it can be effective. When they keep asking for money I start to question their true motivation. We do need to get money out of the political process, but contributing money to an organization is not the most effective way to do this.
