I Still Dream, Я все еще мечтают, Я все ще мріють.

Why are so many people afraid of or dislike people who are different from them? If people focused more on what they have in common with those they think of as being different they would be happier. I have to remind myself of this too. It is also important to remember the actions of governments in countries does not represent all of the people in those countries. This was true when George W, Bush was president of the U.S.A. This is also true of Владимир Путин (Vladimir Putin) in the Russian Federation. I continue to dream of a day when members of LGBTQ communities all over the world can be free to be who they are. I also dream of a day when peoples of all religions and those without religion will respect other's views on religion. It is important for all people to be able to be happy with who they are.
Почему так много людей боятся или не любят людей, которые отличаются от них? Если люди обращали больше внимания на то, что у них есть общего с теми, что они думают о как иначе они были бы счастливее. Я должен напомнить себе об этом тоже. Важно также помнить, действия правительств в странах не представляет всех людей в этих странах. Это было верно, когда Джордж Буш был президентом U.S.A. Это также верно Владимир путин в Российской Федерации. Я продолжаю мечтать о дне, когда члены ЛГБТ-сообщества во всем мире может быть свободным, чтобы быть, кто они есть. Я также мечтаю о дне, когда народы всех религий и тех, кто без религии будут уважать взгляды других на религию. Это важно для всех людей, чтобы иметь возможность быть счастливым с тем, кто они есть.

Чому так багато людей бояться або не люблять людей, які відрізняються від них? Якщо люди звертали більше уваги на те, що у них є спільного з тими, що вони думають про як інакше вони були б щасливішими. Я повинен нагадати собі про це теж. Важливо також пам'ятати, дії урядів в країнах не становить всіх людей в цих країнах. Це було вірно, коли Джордж Буш був президентом U.S.A. Це також вірно Володимир Путін в Російській Федерації. Я продовжую мріяти про день, коли члени ЛГБТ-спільноти в усьому світі може бути вільним, щоб бути, хто вони є. Я також мрію про день, коли народи всіх релігій і тих, хто без релігії будуть поважати погляди інших на релігію. Це важливо для всіх людей, щоб мати можливість бути щасливим з тим, хто вони є.

Кириллической мечта

Last night in a dream I was writing a document in Russian. I do not remember what the document was. I only remember writing it in the Cyrillic alphabet. The writing was neater than mine is in reality. My handwriting has never been very neat in the Cyrillic or Latin alphabets. It might be a sign that I need to get some practice writing in Russian. I did feel good when I woke up from that dream. It reminds me that I need to continue developing my language skills.

Прошлой ночью во сне я писал документ на русском языке. Я не помню, что этот документ. Я помню только писать его на кириллице. Почерк был аккуратнее, чем у меня это на самом деле. Мой почерк никогда не был очень аккуратным в кириллице или латинице. Это может быть признаком того, что мне нужно, чтобы получить некоторую практику письма на русском языке. "Talk Radio:" A Film Directed by Oliver Stone with Eric Bogosian

"Talk Radio" was based on the play Talk Radio created by Eric Bogosian and Tad Savinar and written by Eric Bogosian and the book Talked to Death: The Life and Murder or Alan Berg by Stephen Singular. It was directed by Directed by Oliver Stone with a screenplay by Oliver Stone and Eric Bogosian. It is about Barry Champlain, a Dallas talk radio host played by Eric Bogosian. He is loved and hated by the people who listen to his show. Listeners call to talk about subjects that include racism, feminism and homophobia. Barry Champlain is good at provoking, and he is given the opportunity to have his show syndicated nationally. Among his callers are some white supremacists from he receives death threats. He had been given offers for syndication previously, but he had turned them down. The previous offers depended on him being less aggressive with the callers. He wants to continue doing the show his way. A representative of the network who want to syndicate his show is present as he does the show live. Many of the callers are unstable, and Champlain seems at times like he is dealing with more stress than he can handle. Alec Baldwin, Ellen Greene and John C. McGinley also appear in this film. It is an excellent blend of drama, humor and suspense.

What the Fuck is Wrong with Saying Fuck?

Why are some words considered obscene while other words that refer to the same things are considered acceptable?Why is the the excrement more acceptable than shit? The word fuck has multiple uses. It can be used to refer to sexual intercourse, but we are told that people act like fuck is not a word that should be said in front of children. More children are hurt by hearing people say that homosexuality is wrong than they are by hearing someone say fuck. Why are vagina, penis and anus are more acceptable than some other words that refer to the same thing? There are words that are accepted as exclamations and others are not. We are told that is all right to say darn or shoot, but if we fuck, shit and sometimes damn some people are shocked. Some people teach their children to hate certain groups of people because of their sexual orientation, gender identity, race religious views, political views and for other reasons. It is this hate that is obscene. One person killing another because of hate is something that is discussed openly, but one person fucking another because of love is not supposed to be mentioned in polite society. Something is fucked up about that shit.

In the USA the prevalent attitude about nudity is not very healthy. Being taught to be ashamed of our bodies does more harm than seeing uncovered genitalia. Teaching healthier attitudes about sexuality would probably lessen the number of sexual assaults. There are many sexual acts that can be done to express love. I do not see anything wrong with consenting adults performing sex for fun though. Our sexuality and our bodies are not things of which we need to be ashamed.

More Lies from Pat McCrory

I received an email asking me to send a message to Pat McCrory, the governor of North Carolina, concerning pollution caused by Duke Energy when coal ash spilled into the Catawba River. Instead of making sure that Duke Energy cleans up the spill he raised the acceptable level of the pollutants in the water. He has made it clear that he does not care about probable endangering the health of many citizens if this state. Through this email I sent him a message. I got an automated messages that "I serve you."  I sent a reply that said that I did not believe that. I listed the reasons for which I do not believe that he serves the citizens of North Carolina. In addition to this issue I also mentioned the recent bill that he signed into law, the one that allows for discrimination against members of the LGBT community. I said that I will not accept his lies. He has been bought by Duke Energy, and we need to vote him out of office.

Who Will Pay if North Carolina's Discriminatory Laws Makes the State Causes Companies to Stay Away?

There are companies who plan on boycotting North Carolina because of a discriminatory law passed here. I agree with their goals, but I wonder if the Governor and state legislature will pay attention to this. Governor McCrory has proven that he does not care about the people or the economy of this state. He only cares about his own political agenda and pleasing the conservative religious right. I definitely want to see this law repealed, and I do hope this tactic works. I just doubt that McCrory and those who passed this law really care. We need to vote them out of office and elect people who care about the well being of the state's population, the state's economy and ecology and who will not pass discriminatory law. We need to elect people who will work for those who vote them into office instead of working for Duke Energy and the rich. The government of this state do not care if their actions make the state lose possible jobs that we desperately need.

A Reminder to Myself

I have to remind myself from time to time that I can be happy and feel good about myself even though I am not where I want to be. When people ask how I am I have a tendency to be subdued in my response. I am going to stop doing that. I feel good about myself. I am working on things, but I can be happy while I am doing that. I do not need the permission of other people to feel good about who I am. I do not try to be different from other people, but I am not going to try to be like other people. I am just who I am, twisted, intelligent, nerdy, perverse, happy, queer and a furry among other things. I am who I am meant to be.
