Everlast is another rapper that I like a lot. My favorites from this CD are "Ends" and "What It's Like." The latter has a very powerful message about not being judgmental. I also like the music that he did with House of Pain. I have not heard his more recent music yet. I remember that a lot was said when he converted to Islam. I have not heard much about him lately. Has written some very good lyrics. His first solo album was released in 1990. According to Wikipedia it did not sell very well, but low sales does not equate low quality. I would be interested in hearing that one. I had a copy of "Whitey Ford Sings the Blues" before. I am not sure what happened to it. I just got a new copy, and I am glad that I did. It has strong performances from the musicians involved.
