There is no single leader of "the free world."

There is no single leader of "the free world." The President of the U.S.A. is definitely not the leader of the free world. We do enjoy freedoms in this country, freedom of speech for instance. We lag behind other countries in healthcare. Even with insurance not everybody can afford necessary healthcare. Someone recently told me that liberals want to limit freedoms. This is ridiculous. Conservatives want to limit freedom of religion. They think that freedom of religion is only for Christians. They want to define marriage as between a man and a woman. They do not want two men or two women to be able to marry. They act as if giving others the rights that they have limits their own rights. There are people who think that their rights are being hurt when hate speech is not allowed in places. One's rights do not include the right to do harm to others. No single country has a monopoly on freedoms. I also do not like the idea of the U.S. being the most powerful country. Why do people focus on power? To me there are more important things, like welcoming refugees who are looking for a safe home. There is more than enough wealth in this country to take care of those in need in this country and refugees who are also in need. Freedom should be for all of us, not just for the rich.
