"God sent me to piss the world off."

The title of this song is taken from Eminem's song "My Name Is." It is taken out of context. It can be taken in a biblical way. Nowhere in the Bible are we told to please the World. Jesus said that we would be hated because of Him. We are not told to conform to what other people think we should be. Each of us was made the way we are for a reason. Popularity is never shown as something that we are told to try to attain. We are told to find our own purpose and to do that. Often we make the mistake of listening to other people or ourselves saying that we are too young, too old, not smart enough, of the wrong sexual orientation, etc. I struggle with my own self doubts. People sometimes say that I am too different. I was not made to fit into the mainstream of American society. Once I knew someone who was the manager of a sandwich shop. He would not give me a job application, because he said that the owner of the place would fire me. In North Carolina anybody can be fired from their jobs without a reason. He said that the owner would fire me, because I did not act "American enough." My main point in this post is that my goal in life is to be and do what I was made for not what other think I should be and do. I think that that is the healthiest thing one can do with one's life.
