What I Want in a Relationship

At times I have wondered if I am capable of being faithful in a monogamous relationship. I now believe that the answer is yes. I need to be in a relationship where there is open, honest communication. Mutual respect and love are also necessary. I would want to be obedient, but that does not mean that I want to be controlled. I would need to know that I always have the option of saying "no." When I get into a relationship with someone we will both need time to adjust to being with each other. I would want to be able to show love spontaneously, not out of a sense of obligation. I would hope that we would be able to share common interests, but if we had differences of tastes these differences would be treated respectfully. We would be together as a couple, but we would remain individuals. We would not hide meanings behind words or actions. We would be open with others that we are a couple. We would not hide our love for each other. We would kiss whenever we wanted and walk hand in hand. Also sex would be an important part of our relationship. I would want to please him in every way, and I would proudly do this out of love for him. I hope that this happens soon.
