Update for 6/30/16

I learned this morning that in Winston-Salem, North Carolina 20% of the people do not have enough money to buy food. I am one of those people. I am working on improving my situation, but for this many people not to have enough money to buy food is not a good thing. In Greensboro and High Point in the same state the percentage is 22.2. I wonder what the percentage of the population in these cities is homeless. I am learning more strongly how much the general population looks down on people who are unemployed. There is a prevalence of signs saying "No Trespassing" and "No Trespassing." I had not noticed before how many fences in this city are topped with barbed wire. During the day homeless people often do not have anywhere to avoid heat, cold, rain, etc. There are agencies that help the homeless, but too often they treat us as if we were not worthy of respect. All people are worthy of respect.

Rereading "I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell" again continued (Adult Content)

In this book Tucker Max wrote about a conversation he had with some gay men. This conversation was about oral sex. The gay men said that men were better at performing fellatio than women are. They say that this is true because they know what makes their own cocks feel good during oral sex. Not all men enjoy being sucked in the same way. Some men like for attention to be given to the head. Others like more attention to be given to the shaft. Most men may not like for teeth to touch their cocks, but I recently met someone who wanted me to chew his cock like I was chewing gum when I was blowing him. The ones of us who are better at performing fellatio realize that not all men want to be sucked in the same way.

Rereading "I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell" again.

I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell is still a fucking hilarious book. I definitely would not take advice from Tucker Max concerning alcoholic beverages. The only beers he mentioned drinking are mass-produced American near beers. He also wrote about Absinthe. He could not handle it. I do admit that he did drink much more than I would ever be able to drink, but come on, Absinthe is not that hard to handle. I walked around with a flask of the stuff when I visited Prague. If I could do that, it definitely should not have been too much for him. Oh well. This post will be continued soon. Ciao for now.

23 June 2016

I am slowly catching up with things online. I am learning things while staying in the homeless shelter. I am learning more about the stigmas attached to being homeless. Sometimes people who volunteer at the the shelter have a tendency to treat people staying there as being somehow "less than." Nobody has the right to look down on anybody else. I am also noticing the effect of the lack of public restrooms has on those of us who are homeless. Anybody can come into hard times and end up without a home.

It is hard for me to believe that today is my 57th birthday. I have received a lot of birthday wishes on Facebook. I miss my friends.

I know that things will get better.

It has been affirmed that I am most strongly to those on the fringes of society. I need to get more disciplined about writing here. I will try to write posts on my phone.

I appreciate all of you who read this.

Until next time I will remain your Professional Asshole in Winston-Salem, NC, USA.

Update

I have not had access to a computer for more than a month. I am still looking for a job and home. I tried at one shelter, but I was told that I am not eligible for their program. The reason is that I do not have a drug or alcohol problem. I t looks like I will be going to a shelter where I will have to check in early in the evening then leave early in the morning. I am not giving up, but this is something new for me. If I had a problem with drugs or alcohol I would have an easier time finding somewhere to stay. Something will work out. I will be happier when I have access to a computer on a more regular basis. I will try to post more frequently.
