Lucio Dalla was one of my favorite singers. I did not know that he died on 1 March 2012. The first of his songs that I had heard was "4/3/1943." A good friend introduced me to his music in 1979. I have one CD by him, "Caro amico ti scrivo." That is a "greatest hits" collection. I have seen some of his music videos on YouTube. "Disperato erotico stomp" and "Ciao" are among my favorites of his songs. I was not aware that it had been revealed after his death that he was gay. The video for the song "Ciao"is a fun video with some gender bending. I would like to hear more of his music. He was a talented songwriter and musician.
