Sex not Violence

It makes no sense that violent movies are less restricted than those showing sex. Why is it in the United States that we fear letting those under eighteen see people making love. It makes more sense for violent movies to have a more restricted audience as is the case in some countries.

There are people who get overly upset when they see two men kissing on television. They say that this unsuitable for children to see. These same would probably not be upset to see two men beating the shit out of each other on tv. That's fucked up. If a man and a woman walk down the street in this country nobody thinks there is anything wrong, but if two men did the same thing in parts of the country it would be considered scandalous. In parts of the country they might get beaten up. Why do people feel threatened by rights being given to all people to love the ones they love. Giving other people rights does not take away from anybody's rights. I heard a song  entitled "Hate Crime" by a "Christian" rock band that said it was a hate crime for homophobia not to be accepted. They said they were the ones being discriminated against if they could not discriminate against others. I long for the day when kissing, hugging or holding hands with another man in public will not be a political act. I will continue to be much more careful when it comes to sucking dick in public. I would restrict that to Southern Decadence and other occasions like that.
