We Need to Take Better care of the Planet We Call Home.

Power companies and conservative politicians like to say that setting standards for carbon emissions and government regulations are harmful to the economy. We need to find renewable sources of energy. Carbon emissions are hurting our planet, and this is our home and the home of a lot of other life. They want to deny climate change. Denying it is not going to make it go away. We need to start taking care of this planet before it is too late. We need to stop the use of plastics that are not made from plant materials in a sustainable way. Plastics, especially microbeads in cleansers, are very bad for the environment. There is a large mass of plastic in the Pacific Ocean, and this needs to be cleaned up. I noticed on a vending a machine that sells water in plastic bottles a sticker that said that the bottling company was being environmentally friendly by using bottles made of up to 30% plant-based plastic. This is a crock of shit. What does that even mean? Is any of the plastic plant based or only a very small per cent? We also need to urge the government to ban fracking. We all need to do our part.
